Ok so after having windows crash on me a few times I've finally got it back up and running with one issue, my install isissing the PCI DATA acquisition & Signal processing controller driver.
I reinstalled windows 7 professional 64 bit a few days ago and the following day I updated it to Service Pack 1 and then had to install some 200 updates following my install.
Now on two separate occasions now I have had the graphics card drivers stop and restart where the screens will go off & then come back on once the driver has restarted, is this relatated to the PCI Data Controller problem I have?
I have an old ps2 keyboard installed and also a Logitech webcam but I can't find the drivers for that on the net to install. It's a quickcam s7500.
Can someone on the forums please help me get my system back running properly?
I don't want to have to reinstall windows again.
Many Thanks,
Chris
I rebuild a ThinkStation 6483-29U with Windows XP SP2 and Device Manager shows a yellow question mark for Other Device - PCI Data Acquisition and Signal Processing Controller. This is out the box unit no special card installed. Lenovo web site for Thinkstation support and drivers do not show anything for this device.
